Is the Live Hunt Software Needed?

Yes, however automated scoring is not needed.

 

Is Gen 3 needed?

No, Gen 2 systems can be used.

 

Which sets are they to shoot to qualify?

Elk, North American, Small Game, African Safari, and Fall Deer.

 

How many shots per set?

First 20 scenes in each set.

 

What is the shooting distance?

Minimum of 15 yards.

 

How does the scoring work?

Outside in. Body shots are 5.

 

Do we have to run a league at the same time as the qualifying?

What is the cost for qualifying?

$100 pays for all 5 sets and the shop keeps that money.

 

Do we have scorecards?

Yes, they will be available for you to download and print.

 

What are the classes?

Men’s Hunter, Women’s Hunter, Traditional, Kids Hunter (16 and under).

 

Are there any restrictions?

No Clarifiers, 18” max front stabilizer, 10” max back stabilizer.

 

When is the qualification time period?

Now to March 5th.

 

How do we add our participants?

Please go to www.bigshottargets.com and register your shop. You will be sent a follow up email with a spreadsheet to add your qualifying shooters.

 

Who Qualifies for the Championship tournament?

Top 2 shooters in each class from each shop.
